Helen works with teachers, the private sector and individuals, offering a wide variety of language-based services. She offers a wide range of modern language teacher training projects, as well as individual and group lessons, with a particular emphasis on French
Individual Learners and Groups French and German tuition at all levels of learning (absolute beginners to advanced) and all age groups (5 – 85 years). Helen works with individuals, and groups at the Adult College in Lancaster, which offers her an opportunity to help people fulfil their personal language goals whether they are moving to the Dordogne or seeing it as a career promotion benefit. In her work with groups and individuals, she tailors each lesson and the direction of the course to the needs and requirements of the students. “I believe that learners who are fully engaged with their studies are successful learners.”

Workshops are hands-on and incorporate a wide range of creative activities and learning styles to maximise their effectiveness in the primary languages classroom. They are extremely enjoyable as well as educational.

Conferences A regular speaker at Primary Modern Language conferences, which offer the opportunity for networking, sharing ideas and generally celebrating language learning. She has presented at the PLS in Manchester and this year will be giving a workshop at the “World 2010” ALL conference in York, March 26th – 27th.
