Helen Walker is a modern languages consultant
based in the North West of England specializing
in French and German.

She has over twenty years' international experience
as a language teacher at all levels from kindergarten
to adult learners.

Helen taught in primary classrooms within the Canadian French Immersion system for over 10 years and is therefore very familiar with CLIL. Immersion teaching delivers all subjects in the target language from Key Stage 1 onwards and Helen is fully acquainted with its methods and effectiveness.

She has expertise in training and mentoring, has delivered numerous conference presentations and workshops and created a DVD for language teachers in Canada and Britain.
